This policy explains what personal information SocialSaaga collects, why we collect it and how we protect it. It covers this website, the enquiries you send us, and the private dashboard and client portal we use to run our work. It is written to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
SocialSaaga is a digital marketing agency offering website design, SEO, social media marketing and paid advertising. We are based at #72, 3rd Floor, Gowri Nilaya, 1st Cross, Niranthara Layout, Reva Circle, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560064. Our two co-founders manage the business and the information described here.
Visitors to this website. Our hosting provider and the tools listed below receive technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit. This is needed to deliver the website, keep it secure and understand how it is used.
Enquiries and chat. When you use an enquiry form, our website chatbot, email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive what you share:
We ask you to tick a consent box on our forms, and we keep a record of when you agreed. Our forms also use spam checks, described under Cookies and tracking. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as passwords, financial details or health information, through the forms or chat.
Quotes, NDAs and agreements. When we prepare a quote or agreement, we record your name, business and contact details, the service, the price and the duration. If you accept a quote online or sign an NDA digitally, we also record your signature, name, the date and time, your IP address and the device you used, as proof of what was agreed.
Client portal and projects. Clients can have an invite-only login, or a time-limited view-only link. Through the portal you can view designs, approve work, send us messages and see invoices and reports. We keep a log of login activity to protect your account.
Files and access details. Clients may upload logos, content, photos and documents, and may share access details for accounts we need to work on. Access credentials are stored encrypted and can be seen only by our co-founders.
Invoices and payments. We keep GST invoices, payment status and amounts. We do not store card or bank details.
Website renewals. For client websites, we keep domain, hosting and SSL details and their expiry dates, so we can remind you before they lapse.
Reports and analytics. With a client’s permission, we connect to their Google Analytics, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) accounts, Meta Ads and Google Business Profile. We use the performance data only to show results and create reports for that client.
Feedback. After a project is completed, we may ask you for a testimonial or a Google review.
When you send us an enquiry, you consent to us using your details to respond to it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. We will then stop using your details for that purpose, unless the law requires us to keep them.
We run a private, invite-only dashboard on our own website, built as a custom WordPress plugin. It is used by our co-founders to manage enquiries, quotes, projects, invoices, renewals and reports, and by clients through the secure portal. Access is limited to the people who need it. Security measures include two-step login, automatic logout, encrypted credentials, daily off-site backups and activity logs.
We send emails from our co-founders’ Gmail accounts, and we may keep client emails with the client’s record. We send internal alerts, such as a new enquiry, through Telegram and WhatsApp. These messages may include your name and the details of your enquiry.
We use the Anthropic Claude API to help draft quotes, emails, reports and SEO suggestions, and to power our website chatbot. Information you give us may be sent to this service for that purpose. A person reviews drafts before we send them to you.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to run our work, with these service providers:
We may also share information with authorities or advisers when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights. Some of these providers may store or process information outside India. Where this happens, it remains subject to applicable Indian law.
When you first visit, we ask you to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. If you accept, we load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel to understand how this website is used and to measure our campaigns. They can set cookies and receive details such as your IP address, the pages you visit and the fact that an enquiry form was sent (not what you wrote in it). If you decline, they do not load. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the page footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
To block spam, our enquiry form can use Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a person is sending it. reCAPTCHA is provided by Google, can receive your IP address and information about your browser and device, and is covered by Google’s privacy policy and terms. We also use hidden checks, such as timing and a limit on how often one connection can send the form.
If you switch between Day and Night mode, your browser remembers the choice on your device. It is not sent to us. Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and animation code from cdnjs. Your browser requests these files directly from those services, which can see your IP address.
If you message us on WhatsApp or follow a link to another website or social media platform, that service’s own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how other websites handle your information.
We may show completed work, client names and logos in our portfolio. We publish testimonials only with the client’s permission. To ask us to remove anything about your business, write to the email address below.
We keep enquiries and chat transcripts that do not lead to a project for up to three years after our last contact. We keep client, quote, agreement and billing records for as long as our contracts and tax and accounting laws require. When a project ends, we remove stored access credentials. After the retention periods, we delete the information or make it anonymous.
We limit access to the people who need it and use the safeguards described above, together with secure hosting and password-protected accounts. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected people as the law requires.
